“Magical girls—that’s a profession that’s strong, cool, and graceful. It's a career everyone admires, highly paid, popular, and respectable.”
Kanako Sakuragi, a college student struggling with job hunting and unable to secure a job offer, has lost confidence, thinking "I’m not needed in society." One day, she gets caught up in a natural disaster known as a “kaiki” during an interview. Rescued from this peril by Hitomi Koshigaya, a delinquent magical girl, Kanako ends up assisting Hitomi in battling the kaiki with her remarkable memory. Recognizing her talent, Kanako is recruited as a new graduate by the venture company Majilumie Inc.
However, what awaits her at Majilumie is a collection of eccentric individuals, including Hitomi and others with peculiar traits… The magical girl fanatic president, Shigemoto, who is an absolute magical girl supremacist; the overly perceptive salesman, Midagawa; the gloomy, socially awkward magical girl enthusiast engineer, Futakoyama; and more. Furthermore, the magical girl career she admired turns out to be a dangerous job that sometimes even risks lives…
With a sense of responsibility for both people’s lives and her work, Kanako steps into her new role as a magical girl and begins her battle as a working professional—
