One day, a mysterious mermaid girl named Shiori appears before Hinako, a lonely girl living by the sea. Taking her hand gently, Shiori speaks with a calm smile— Hinako’s flesh and blood are said to be exceptionally delicious. So much so, in fact, that it draws the attention of countless supernatural creatures.
Shiori makes a vow: She will protect Hinako from all harm, keeping her safe until she matures and reaches her most perfect, delectable state— so that she can devour her someday. And yet, within Hinako’s heart, a quiet hope begins to bloom: “Maybe… maybe she’s the one who can grant my deepest wish.”
