Bound by a mysterious contract orchestrated by a goddess and his parents long ago, Makoto Misumi is transported to another world with the purpose of becoming a hero. However, the goddess, finding Makoto aesthetically displeasing, rejects him as a hero and grants him the ability to comprehend all languages except the human tongue. Dismissively, she sends Makoto to the desolate wasteland, far removed from human civilization.
In this new realm, the vast differences trigger Makoto's latent physical and magical capabilities, rendering him remarkably powerful. Along his journey, he encounters demi-humans and mythical beings, all drawn to his unique attributes. Together, they collaborate to establish a harmonious community where various beings coexist peacefully.
Despite this achievement, Makoto still yearns to connect with fellow humans. In a world where the goddess has forbidden him from interacting with his own kind, it falls upon Makoto and his companions to fulfill this desire - and, in the process, potentially reshape society.
