Toufu Kozou Lyrics
During the Edo period, there was a little tofu boy (Mamekōzō) who was a yokai but couldn’t scare anyone. He was always getting scolded by his father, Mikoshi Nyūdō. Feeling sad, the little boy set out on a journey with his guardian, Daruma, to search for his estranged mother. However, he was tricked by a tanuki and trapped in a temple.
When he finally emerged, the world he stepped into was the modern era, 200 years later. In this new world, where he could find no trace of other yokai, he met a girl named Ai Murota, who could see yokai.
