Yuri, an ordinary girl living in modern-day Japan, suddenly finds her life turned upside down.
One day, while out on a date with her boyfriend, she is seized by a mysterious hand that emerges from a puddle and is dragged beneath the water.
When she awakens, she finds herself in the Hittite Empire of the 14th century BCE.
She soon learns that she has been summoned across time as a human sacrifice through the schemes of Queen Nakia, an ambitious queen determined to eliminate the other princes and secure the throne for her own son.
There, Yuri meets Prince Kail, the prince considered the strongest candidate for succession.
Taken under his protection as a concubine, Yuri gradually wins the hearts of the people. Before long, she becomes renowned throughout the land as Ishtar, the Goddess of War.
As the deadline for her return to modern Japan draws ever closer, Yuri finds herself caught up in the queen's conspiracies and conflicts with neighboring nations. At the same time, she begins to develop deep feelings for Kail.
Torn between love, duty, and the possibility of returning home, what path will Yuri ultimately choose...?
