Deep in the mountains lies a forbidden place that the local villagers have long been strictly prohibited from entering.

A mysterious shrine stands there, and legend says that anyone who sets foot in the area will be cursed—perhaps even lose their life.

Hinata and Kaoru, siblings born into the Misogidani family, who have managed the mountain for generations, find themselves entering this taboo land one stormy night.

There, they encounter Yamatagi Madara, a curse god with the body of a gigantic serpent.

—Or at least, that's how it should have gone.

Instead of being terrified by the supernatural being, the two casually nickname him “Dara-san” and quickly become attached to him!

“I am supposed to be a curse god, you know!?”

Constantly dragged around by the fearless Hinata and Kaoru, the supernatural horror soon finds himself playing the role of the straight man in their antics!

Follow the noisy yet heartwarming daily lives of Dara-san, who carries a sorrowful past, and these impossibly free-spirited siblings.

A fresh new blend of occult adventure and comedy born in the Reiwa era begins now!
