Takeru Narihira is a lone-wolf delinquent who spends his days fighting, never relying on anyone. But in his dreams, a mysterious girl named Tsukimiya appears again and again, stirring feelings he doesn’t fully understand.
Then, one day, a sudden accident sends Takeru tumbling off a cliff—
and when he wakes up, he finds himself in a parallel world:
a futuristic Heian-kyo known as Denji Heian-kyo,guarded by the legendary onmyoji, Abe no Seimei…and where Tsukimiya exists for real.
Just when fate seems to bring them together, a monstrous force known as the Yami Kaoru (Black Mists) strikes. Takeru and Tsukimiya are killed by terrifying creatures called Onijin (Wraiths).
But in the next moment—Takeru awakens again in Denji Heian-kyo.
Realizing he’s caught in a time loop, he swears to defy the future where Tsukimiya dies.To do that, he’ll train under Abe no Seimei, master the mystical arts of onmyojutsu, and rise as a new kind of warrior—a Yankee Onmyoji.
