Rentt Faina, a 25-year-old adventurer, has spent a decade battling monsters, focusing mainly on slimes and goblins due to his limited skills. His mundane routine takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles upon an unexplored path in the Water Moon Dungeon.
However, what lies at the path's end is not the usual trove of treasures; instead, he encounters a legendary dragon that promptly devours him whole. To his surprise, Rentt awakens shortly afterward, not entirely dead but reduced to a mere pile of bones. Armed with his loyal sword, tool belt, and a rather ghastly appearance, Rentt embarks on a new journey as a reanimated skeleton, striving for Existential Evolution. His ultimate goal is to regain a human form and rejoin civilization.
As Rentt ventures forth, will he achieve his transformation, or will the dungeon hold him in its grasp for the duration of his unusual afterlife?
