Life is a game—a constant series of choices.
Sam Young, a 22-year-old software developer, has been a passionate gamer since childhood. During his student years, he poured everything into creating his own adventure-puzzle game, "Luminate." With high hopes, he finally releases it to the world.
But his dreams are quickly crushed when the game is harshly criticized by none other than top game streamer Marshall Law— shutting the door on Sam’s future as a game creator. And as if fate were mocking him, Marshall suddenly moves in next door.
As Sam reluctantly navigates this unexpected twist, his relationships begin to shift— with his strict yet well-meaning boss Charles Jones, his childhood friend and favorite café barista Link Hudson, and others around him who are drawn into the ripple effect.
Raised by overprotective parents and completely inexperienced in love,
Sam is thrown off balance by his growing closeness with Marshall—
yet slowly, he begins to shed the walls around his heart.
Can Sam clear the ultimate game—the one called life—on its hardest difficulty?
