Fable, a renowned assassin with a long list of successful contracts, finds himself in a precarious situation after completing his latest job. With his body count reaching alarming levels, his boss insists that he take a year-long hiatus to lay low. This hiatus is seen as an opportunity for Fable to experience life as an ordinary citizen, offering valuable lessons for his future endeavors.
Accompanied by his loyal driver, a woman who now poses as his sibling, Fable embarks on this new phase under strict orders from their boss: no killings allowed. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in dire consequences for both of them. Thus begins Akira and Youko Satou's year-long journey away from the underworld, navigating the challenges of their new identities and the temptations of their former life.
