Shinonome Hajime spent his childhood in the slums, desperately seeking strength just to survive.
Now, as a village-affiliated adventurer in Komai Village, he lives a relaxed and carefree life.
One day, while exploring a dungeon on a quest, he comes across a shocking sight—a young girl about to be eaten by the weakest of monsters: a slime!
The girl’s name is Rirui. In order to survive, she had ventured into the dungeon alone.
Abandoned by her parents and with nowhere else to go, Rirui can’t be left behind. Hajime takes her back to the village and ends up living together with her!?
Clumsy but kindhearted, a single adventurer teams up with a straightforward, innocent girl in this chaotic adventure fantasy—full of laughs and, occasionally, a few tears (maybe?).
The curtain rises on their story!
